SAD

Seasonal depression, often called seasonal affective disorder (SAD), is a depression that occurs each year at the same time, usually starting in fall or winter and ending in spring or early summer. It is more than just "the winter blues" or "cabin fever." What is SAD?
Apparently I'm not the only one trying to survive the season... These is weird 'cause Christmas IS my very favorite holiday. But from few years now I've had this ghost following me every winter. What is even more weird is that the weather in Puerto Rico doesn't change THAT much. Well... It rains. The sun goes down earlier. And we go from the 90 degrees to the 70s. It isn't THAT bad. Indeed the weather is kind of nice. It isn't like we have snow all over and we can't go out! Apparently I'm officially part of that 6% who suffer from this Affective disorder. I don't want to go to the psychologist for this. 'Cause I don't want to go back on Wellbutrin. But I'm going to try fix things my way. Here's what I'm doing during the weekend:
  • Cut the time I spend on the computer.
  • Go to the beauty salon to have my hair done.
  • Go shopping to buy what I'm wearing tomorrow on CIE's X-mas Party.
  • Spend some time outdoors doing some gardening for my 'Light Therapy'.
  • Decorate for the season... I'm putting lights all over the place.
  • Clean my house... Listening to loudest music I can find.
Hopefully I'll feel better after all this. I'll keep you posted on this matter.
As for the weight loss journey... I gained three pounds. Guess Bob sent them my way. What a crafty guy he is. Ahrg! But don't feel so happy Bob 'cause I KNOW I'M KICKING YOUR BUTT IN THIS CHALLENGE. Depression and all I CAN WIN THIS!!! Time is up... I MOST get off the computer now... Until later guys!
